Yoshifuji Utagawa (1828-1887)

Ukiyo-e artist of the Edo and Meiji periods.

Yoshifuji's dedicated work in toy painting earned him the nickname ‘Toy Yoshifuji’. His art was popular from the end of the Edo period to the Meiji era (1868-1912).
